If local boxing fans didn’t get their fill with Manny Pacquiao's fight last weekend, they will have a chance to see a pair of Winnipeg Pinoy boxers in action later this spring.
Bradley “Boom-boom” Quinit and his brother Jon “Fists of Fury” Quinit will be featured in Friday Night Fights at the Marlborough Hotel in Winnipeg – a presentation of Ultimate Cage Wars (UCW) and the United Boxing Club. It’s an evening of dinner and live boxing sanctioned by the Manitoba Amateur Boxing Association (MABA).
Bradley is the 2008 Ringside World Champion (runner-up), two-time provincial Champion, two-time Canadian National Bronze medallist while brother Jon is 2009 48kg Canadian National Champion, 2009 48kg Ringside Champion, 2009 Francophone Games Bronze medallist and 2010 Canadian National Games Bronze medallist. Jon is working towards the Canadian National Team, The Worlds, The Pan-American Games and ultimately, the 2012 summer Olympics in London, England.
UCW promoter Tony Condello, known for years of live professional Mixed Martial Arts and Wrestling events here in Winnipeg, has teamed up with the United Boxing Club to promote an evening of champions with Friday Night Fights.

Also featured on the women’s side is “Crystal “First-Nation-Sensation” Brown with an impressive resume. She is a two-time Provincial Champion and she competed in Quebec at the 2010 Canadian Nationals. Crystal is hoping to earn a spot on the National Team.
