FBA-NA Winnipeg Tykes – Regina Classic Finalists

The Filipino Basketball Association of North America (FBA-NA) Grade 4/5 Winnipeg Basketball Team were finalists in the 4^th Annual Hornets Basketball, Cougar Club Classic held from May 15-17, 2009 in Regina, Saskatchewan. The team’s success marks the first time that an FBA-NA Tykes team has gone to the finals. This talented group of athletes, coached by Ron Guinto and Albert Morcilla, will represent Winnipeg at the FBA-NA Tournament in Glendale Heights, Illinois on the 5th and 6th of September 2009.

Congratulations also go to the FBA-NA Peewee and Bantam teams who were also finalists in their divisions.
