Like wine, the older they get, the better

    IKAW Basketball

The older they get the better. On January 10, 2010, IKAW kicked off the much-anticipated league where two age divisions of 48-above and 40-above excitingly waited at Tec Voc high school. Commissioner Jerry Medina and the Committee members followed the always-entertaining opening ceremonies program and then followed it with a clear message to all the players. “Please…Iwasan natin ang makasakit…may trabaho pa tayo bukas (let’s try not to hurt (ourselves)…we still (have to) work tomorrow).” The league that continues to grow also adheres to their motto, “a good sport is better than good at sport. “ With 12 teams vying for the championships in their respective divisions, it was evident that the league promoted sportsmanship and fair play. Good luck to all the teams!
