The Philippine Canadian Centre of Manitoba (PCCM) was a packed house on Sunday, May 24 as the singers, dancers and students of VIGCOR Music Studio performed in support of the PCCM. Headliners April Rose Llave, Camille Kaye Sarsaba and Mary Grace Lontajo led the remarkable troupe in a show that presented their incredible wealth of talent as well as a dazzling array of costume designs.
Proud father and Winnipeg City Councillor Mike Pagtakhan extended greetings from the mayor to the audience, organizers and performers of the concert. Proceeds from this event, VIGCOR’s latest fundraiser for the PCCM, totalled approximately $2,000. Tess Newton, chairperson of the PCCM fundraising committee, was on-hand to acknowledged the donation.
