Welcome to our December 1, 2018 issue of Pilipino Express.
We offer a variety of topics for you to explore, hoping that you’ll enjoy reading the articles while finding out about what’s going on in our community.
“Canadians favour immigration” – that’s our current issue’s headline. Our columnist, Michael Scott writes about the results of a recent survey conducted by the Environics Institute between October 1 and 14, 2018. For us immigrants, especially during these unsettling times, it is encouraging to know that many of our neighbours are generally in favour of immigration. "Canadians still support immigration."
Also in this issue, we introduce you to our talented Filipino-Canadian singers. They are all from Winnipeg, Manitoba.
