Traditionally, New Year’s Eve is a time for celebration and for customs to ensure good luck in the coming year. It’s a time for looking back to the past and, more important, forward to the coming year. We reflect on the changes we want to make and how to achieve them.
Yes, it’s that time again – time to make those resolutions. Making a resolution about your career or any other aspect of your life is nothing more than setting your goals for the New Year. “Goal” is defined as “the end toward which effort is directed.” Before you begin listing your goals for 2009, think about the things that matter to you the most.
